Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Screening Tests – £100 each
These tests consist of a variety of short activities that, when analysed, can indicate whether a student may have a specific learning difficulty, such as dyslexia or dyscalculia. Our screening tests come with a detailed report that provides the results of the testing and appropriate interventions and support in education.
Generally, these tests meet the needs of schools and colleges. We can administer these tests to children starting at the age of 6.5.
Full Diagnostic Assessments: Dyslexia - £500
Booking from January 2027 onwards.
A formal diagnosis of dyslexia can be confirmed through a full assessment carried out by our qualified specialist. A comprehensive report detailing the results and providing appropriate recommendations will be given. The diagnostic report is accepted by universities as evidence for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) applications. Children must be at least 8 years old to undergo a full diagnostic assessment. They also need to be able to work one‑to‑one with an assessor without a parent present, as this ensures the assessment is conducted reliably and in line with professional standards.
Please note: We are not currently offering diagnostic assessments for dyscalculia. We are unable to provide a confirmed timescale for when these assessments will resume. We are still able to offer dyscalculia screening tests.
Exam Access Arrangements Testing – from £65
JCQ regulations state that this testing must only be conducted by appropriately qualified specialists. White Rose Dyslexia Centre employs appropriately qualified specialists with the necessary experience, qualifications, and professional registrations to conduct examination access arrangements. We will detail outcomes within appropriate paperwork and relevant sections of Form 8.
Specialist Workplace Needs Assessment – £400
Individuals experiencing challenges associated with dyslexia can find it difficult to establish effective coping mechanisms in the workplace. It is then appropriate and often helpful to request a specialist workplace needs assessment to determine a way forward. We have an excellent understanding of dyslexia in the workplace. Following a visit and analysis of the individual’s job and the challenges it presents, we can outline appropriate recommendations for reasonable adjustments to move performance forward.
